Due to busy schedules and other factors, a newsletter was not kept from October 1999 to February 2000. In March 2000, Grunwald started a different version of the Elysium Gazette. Due to some loading errors though, I cannot view his pages properly. Thus I have chosen to copy his content here instead of linking to his pages directly. Thanks go to Grunwald for helping to keep us informed. *smiles*

I awoke with a start from my bedchamber. With the sweat dripping from my brow I wandered out into the hall of the abbey where I was staying. "What am I doing here?" I asked myself. Twas just a few nights ago that my body was mashed into to a bloody pulp by that cow....had not been a good idea to attempt to milk a strange cow. I smiled and thought "That was a bad idea; a really bad idea....but maybe for the best." After my spirit had been flayed from my body my ghost wandered around unsure what to do.....then that strange wisp appeared. I'd heard of them before but never seen one. Another traveler had told me that no one ever understood what they said...why did I heard follow that day? I looked in the mirror and stared at my reflection. " Well somethings happened to me" I said to myself. Ever since awaking here; alive I might add; things seemed different. It was as if my eyes were open now, my mind truely alive. My body seemed definitely stonger as well. Just a few days ago I couldn't hit a cattle with my bow; now I could shoot a bird from 50 paces away. Strangest of all I knew that I could do that, I had no doubt in my abilities whatsoever. Even the realm of magic was not closed to me any longer. One thing was sure; whatever had happened I was not a simple bowyer anymore. Twas just then that I happened to look outside and saw it. My eyes widened as I realized I was looking at the wisp I had seen in the spirit realm! I grabbed my cloak and backpack and hurried outside....

Members from KOS, Trinsic Honor Guard (THG), and several other guilds helped provide safe passage for a caravan lead by Pyros of the Yew Council. The caravan was bringing supplies to Trinsic for an upcoming celebration of the city's liberation. With many warriors and mages present, the journey was a safe one. The few rat men and lizardmen we found along the road slowed us very little.
