Hail and Well met! Tis I, Gwendolyn, your friendly reporter, photographer, and newsletter editor. Um, as you can see, we have a new newsletter web page *smiles*.
I have not tried to copy the format Mikias created for the first three issues of the KOS newsletter, though it was a really good format. Instead, I have tried to set up something that will be fairly easy for me to keep updated while also being easy for you to read and navigate. If I have failed in the second part of this endeavor, please let me know!
The date of Mikias' last newsletter was 07/15/99. Included here is a brief mention of some important events that have taken place since that date. In the future, you should be seeing news posted here soon after it happens and articles written by various KOS members and friends.
Feel free to send any news stories or comments you may have to me. Thanks!

The trial of the Lost Order of Akalabeth (LOA) navy, known as the Fleet, on charges of treason was held today. Nine brave members of the KOS accompanied Merad, a priest of the LOA, to the Court of Truth in Yew. Merad had learned that the acts of treason committed by the Fleet were caused by a spell cast by the evil Order of the Ebon Skull (OES). He entered the courtroom near the end of the trial to prove the Fleet's innocence and OES's role in their recent behavior. Merad challenged Tara, the Fleet Admiral, to a duel. Lady Nova helped explain to the court what Merad had found out. His noble death at the Fleet's hands lifted the spell and ended OES's control of the Fleet. Now that justice was served and the truth come to light, everyone retired to the LOA village for a drink and a look at LOA's beautiful new fountain.

Our new tailor shop, Elysium Needle and Thread, is now open for business. The Needle and Thread is located in a small house just south and slightly east of The Wandering Wisp Tavern, and directly south of Elysium Magika. Rafial Suragate invites all guild tailors to "come and work your fingers to the bone." And everyone else is invited to visit the shop and our vendors, who carry tailoring supplies, new clothing, and leather goods.
